Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Security Officer to join our team. As a Residential Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at our client sites. This may involve standing for long periods, walking, and observing activities and incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service at our client sites
  • Adhere to and enforce all company rules, regulations, procedures, policies, and standards of conduct
  • Observe and report activities and incidents at our client sites
  • Maintain situational awareness to identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns
  • Enforce access control and visitor management policies
  • Conduct patrols to check for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and identify security concerns
  • Maintain professional working relationships with property management, employees, contractors, and other members assigned to the property
  • Responsible use of client and company equipment as security tools to monitor and document security activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by MFort Security Services or client representatives

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to obtain or possess an Illinois State Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) and a 20-hour security training certificate
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a drug test and extensive background check
  • Strong phone skills and ability to multitask
  • Customer service experience

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $18.50 per hour.
