Advertising Account Executive

Job Summary
As a key member of our sales team, the Advertising Account Executive will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of local clients and agencies, with a focus on driving sales growth and revenue.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local advertising market and be able to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies to meet client needs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and presenting market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products
- Assisting in the development of marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue
- Interacting with internal departments to carry out client requirements, such as scheduling advertising and monitoring account activities
- Maintaining up-to-date customer and prospect records and participating in the development of sales forecasts
- Completing required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls, and expense reports
- Seeking new customers through continuous prospecting and following company sales strategies and tactics
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in sales or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
