Job Summary

As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide leadership, guidance, and analysis in the management of personnel issues on behalf of the Director of Facilities Management, Director of Campus Design & Construction Services, Director of Environmental Health & Safety, and the Associate Vice Chancellor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of the human resources team.
  • Provide leadership, counsel, and analysis in the hiring, termination, discipline, training, and motivation of approximately 350 FTE career and limited employees and 25 FTE student assistants.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of a balanced Staffing Report to Central Budget and Planning on behalf of all DFSS departments.
  • Serve as principal liaison with Central Human Resources for all DFSS.
Requirements
  • 3.0 FTE career employees in the human resources team.
  • Approximately 350 FTE career and limited employees and 25 FTE student assistants.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and direct daily operations.
  • Leadership, counseling, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prepare and submit balanced Staffing Reports.
