Store Manager in Training Role Overview

As a Store Manager in Training at Insomnia Cookies, you will be responsible for leading a team of cookie enthusiasts in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. Your primary focus will be on supervising, training, and coaching team members to ensure they meet Insomnia Cookies' standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage store operations, including inventory control, scheduling, and ordering.
  • Lead new hire onboarding and initial training.
  • Conduct interviews for potential new hires.
  • Hold staff accountable to company policies and standards.
  • Upsell and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or retail store.
  • Prior experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff.
  • Prior Point of Sale (POS) systems experience.
  • Ability to utilize MS Office, Word, and our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Ability to work a 4-5 day work week and 1-2 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal eligibility for employment in the United States.
