Salary Range:
$115,000.00 To 162,000.00 Annually

The Strategic Initiatives Manager plays a crucial role in aiding the formulation of the strategic framework and offering insights to the organization's executives and leadership.

In this prominent position, the Manager collaborates across various departments to develop, implement, and advance the ongoing strategies of Sunkist and FGS.

This position offers a distinctive opportunity to gain insights into the business and industry at the highest level, engage in significant projects that will influence the organization's direction, and be part of a high-performing team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the annual strategic planning process and guide the executive team in shaping long-term objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis and evaluate industry trends to derive actionable strategic insights.
  • Assess current operations and new ventures using strategic frameworks and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Facilitate the identification of process improvement and operational efficiency opportunities while designing new workflows.
  • Analyze expansion and growth prospects (e.g., new markets, product lines, technologies, investments, acquisitions, partnerships) and support the business case development and due diligence processes.
  • Establish KPIs and key metrics for the organization and monitor progress against the strategic plan in collaboration with business unit leaders.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders on various ad-hoc requests.
  • Act as a change agent to motivate and prepare personnel within the organization to act decisively.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a prestigious university; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting and/or in-house strategy; experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) is highly preferred.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in Excel modeling, capable of conducting valuations and identifying trends/insights efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to structure complex problems, apply logical reasoning to drive key analyses, and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
  • Relationship Management: Skilled in building strong working relationships across all organizational levels, including influencing executive leadership.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to tailor presentations and communications to diverse audiences, translating complex concepts into clear and concise formats.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience in establishing and managing projects within a complex environment.
  • Can-Do Attitude: Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable functioning as both an individual contributor and a team leader.

Compensation and Benefits:

Actual salary and hourly wage rates are determined based on various factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, location, and internal equity.
