Key Responsibilities:
As the Strategic Innovation and Project Lead, you will oversee the comprehensive development and implementation of new strategic branded innovation initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing project management efficiencies and accelerating the time to market for new products.

  • Lead the full cycle of strategic branded innovation projects utilizing established project management frameworks.
  • Develop and manage multidisciplinary project timelines and workflows, coordinating resources across various departments to meet project goals within specified parameters.
  • Anticipate potential project challenges and proactively propose solutions to ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct evaluations post-launch to assess the success of new product developments in collaboration with commercial teams.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and address challenges by transforming consumer insights into innovative product concepts.
  • Contribute to local strategic innovation plans aimed at delivering impactful growth.
  • Engage with industry networks to stay informed about new product developments and innovation processes.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams to gain insights into the global innovation pipeline.
  • Explore potential opportunities within the product portfolio for relevance to local markets.
  • Coordinate growth plans and capital expenditure requirements from a new product development perspective.
  • Ensure accuracy in the new product forecasting process and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience in project management within the FMCG sector, including expertise in brand development and marketing activation. A strong background in new product development management, familiarity with project planning software, and the Stage Gate process is essential.

Your skill set should include excellent interpersonal abilities, a collaborative mindset, and the capacity to influence stakeholders across diverse teams. A university degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, along with a relevant professional designation, is required. Proficiency in market analytics tools will be advantageous.
