About the Role

Series Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled and driven Strategic Operations Director to support the Chief Operating Officer in ensuring seamless coordination and execution across all aspects of studio operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Implement policies and procedures that enhance productivity and streamline processes across the organization.
  • Facilitate Communication: Act as a key liaison between the Chief Operating Officer and other departments, ensuring effective communication and transparency across the organization.
  • Develop Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the company's vision and goals.
  • Oversee Operational Functions: Help oversee contract administration, procurement, fixed asset management, human resources compliance, records keeping, facilities management, and travel/logistics.
  • Monitor Progress: Monitor, report, and track progress of organizational goals and OKRs.
  • Analyze Data: Analyze operational data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports and presentations for the leadership team, the Board of Directors, and others.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in all operational aspects.
Requirements
  • MBA or Equivalent: MBA from a recognized institution, ideally in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Operational Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience post-MBA in a strategic or operational role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the proven ability to plan effectively, set priorities, meet deadlines, and make decisions while paying attention to detail and quality.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to deal with difficult, often ambiguous, and challenging situations and creatively solve problems.
  • Independent Judgment: Ability to work independently while making informed judgment calls under pressure.
