Regional Sales Director for Industrial Manufacturing

Job Overview:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is a leading provider of recruitment solutions for the manufacturing sector, seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth in a multi-state territory.

Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 per year, plus uncapped bonus starting at 2% of sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow revenue and expand into new industries
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including maintenance and operations leaders in steel, aluminum, and other industrial markets
  • Expand customer base in core industries while cultivating opportunities in power generation, tire and rubber, cement, chemical processing, and mining sectors
  • Schedule and conduct in-person visits, virtual meetings, and follow-ups to close sales opportunities
  • Partner with inside sales teams to track and update customer activities in the CRM system
  • Review and manage quotations, ensuring alignment with revenue goals
  • Address and resolve customer concerns in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows to promote capabilities and build brand recognition

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or a related technical/business field
  • 5+ years of industrial sales experience, with demonstrated success in revenue growth
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing, supply chain dynamics, and market trends in steel, aluminum, and related industries
  • Strong technical aptitude in machining, assembly, testing, or measurement processes
  • Effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate customer environments
  • Self-directed with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities

Preferred Experience:

  • Established network within industrial manufacturing or OEM sectors
  • Track record of expanding sales in industrial markets, including steel and aluminum producers
  • Familiarity with industrial sales cycles and customer relationship management tools
