Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Director to join our Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) team, specializing in Payment Processors and Group Service Providers (GSP) for the North America region. As a key member of our team, you will drive business development, sales, and delivery of high-impact projects for our clients, promoting balanced and profitable growth while ensuring Visa's position as a preferred brand and strong business partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a sales pipeline, targeting key clients, and sell consulting work to meet annual revenue targets.
  • Engage in regular strategic discussions with Account Executives, VCA delivery teams, and Visa stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Lead advisory initiatives, providing strategic insight and direction to the team, and develop frameworks, approaches, and solutions to address clients' most impactful opportunities and challenges.
  • Partner with peers across functional areas and global regional teams to implement projects, maximizing the breadth and depth of Visa's resources.
  • Analyze large data sets to develop actionable insights and recommendations for clients, improving their performance, growth, and understanding of their issues.
  • Manage various systems of record for pricing approvals, internal routing, legal/funding approvals, and accurate revenue recognition.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3+ years with a PhD.
  • 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years with a PhD (preferred).
  • 5+ years of prior payments consulting experience at a consulting firm.
  • 3+ years of experience working with a payment processor or Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) as an employee or consultant.
  • Deep knowledge of the payments landscape, traditional and emerging competition, evolving trends, and the roles and priorities of entities in the payments ecosystem.
  • Track record of managing external partnerships or client relationships.
  • Prior people leadership experience.
  • Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance.
  • Highly developed skills necessary for a leadership role in consulting engagements and VCA, including communication, creation, teaching, learning, challenging the status quo, and being data-driven.

Additional Information

This is an individual contributor role with an option to become a people manager. Open to considering other Visa office locations with the right experience.
