The purpose of the Strategic Finance Partner role is to deliver business partner support to the head of trade and the Head of Network Products for IAM Services, ensuring that investments in our assets and ocean products yield appropriate profitability and optimize value creation.

Key Responsibilities
Financial and Performance Oversight
Accountable for driving effective performance management for the IECSA trades in IAM.
Proactively identify and rectify detailed performance issues in critical areas through a results-oriented framework.
Facilitate the appropriate application of financial models in the decision-making process, providing detailed analysis of services and performance/profitability.

Responsible for the delivery and follow-up of financials (Budget, Monthly and FY process), variance analysis, and target setting in collaboration with the head of trade and network product owners.

Partnership
Discover innovative ways to add value to the organization by challenging existing norms.
Ensure seamless financial interactions between network product owners, AREAs, ROM, and relevant Center functions.

Advocate behind the scenes to garner support for initiatives and encourage the involvement of others to foster ownership and buy-in.

Evaluate the broader business and political implications when making decisions, including assessing the effectiveness of outcomes.
Influence decisions by presenting the appropriate financial data.
Act as a substitute for leaders in driving business review meetings.
Encourage business engagement in volume and profitability.
Analyze both high-performing and low-performing services and corridors.
Process
Collaborate with CENFIN to promote relevant cost/customer initiatives, delve into service profitability to inform decision-making, and work with the Head of IECSA trade and network product owner for IECSA IAM.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is essential.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Experience in financial analysis.
Strong partnering skills.
Commercial acumen in forecasting.
Ability to communicate effectively to influence.
Expertise in relationship and stakeholder management.
Strong analytical capabilities.
Strategic thinking skills.
