POSITION SUMMARY:

Kforce Inc. is seeking a skilled Product Data Analyst. In this role, you will collaborate with various business units and product teams to gain insights into their operational models, enabling the formulation of strategic initiatives and the development of requirements for enhancements within our core dining systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct interviews and facilitate sessions for requirements gathering, process analysis, and application design with stakeholders, including internal IT and business partners.
  • Assess commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products to determine the best alignment with stakeholder needs.
  • Develop business cases to secure funding for new projects and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Agile methodologies, including maintaining a well-defined backlog of user stories with dependencies and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the voice of the customer throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure that appropriate design principles are integrated into every feature and user experience.
  • Validate and approve completed work that meets customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to estimate resources and timelines necessary to fulfill business needs.
  • Gather and create comprehensive business requirements and scope documents, translating them into detailed functional specifications.
  • Manage project deliverables for small to medium-sized projects, ensuring all tasks are logged, tracked, and resolved to meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
  • Assist business partners in troubleshooting IT issues and facilitate collaboration with other IT teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in reviewing business data schemas.
  • Understanding of data analytics, engineering, and management principles.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data flow diagrams.
  • Experience in conducting business process reviews.
  • Proficiency in creating business cases and use cases.
  • Experience in documenting requirements.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of the testing development lifecycle.
  • Experience in project management lifecycle.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Certification in relevant technologies or systems (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Access Control Specialist).
  • 5-7 years of experience across all phases of the application development lifecycle, particularly in business analysis and quality assurance testing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
  • Experience with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Background in a similar role within the maritime industry.
  • Knowledge of cyber and physical security protocols related to access control systems.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The compensation range for this position reflects the lowest to highest amounts we reasonably believe we would pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs. This range may be adjusted in the future.

Salaried employees receive paid time off, while hourly employees may be eligible for paid sick leave as required by law.
