Radiology Advanced Practice Provider in Central Florida

Position Overview:
The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) will work full-time in an inpatient setting at AdventHealth Riverview. Under the guidance of supervising physicians, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive physical assessments and managing the treatment of radiology patients in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
- Ordering necessary diagnostic tests to facilitate accurate evaluations.
- Monitoring patient progress and coordinating referrals to specialists as required.
- Collaborating effectively with physician supervisors and healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Exhibiting a compassionate and professional demeanor while pursuing personal and professional development.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues, patients, and the community.
- Providing care to a diverse patient population, including both pediatric and adult cases.
- Participating in a rotational schedule between the Lumbar Puncture Clinic and the Interventional Radiology Clinic.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Location: AdventHealth Riverview
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to foster effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
- Strong aptitude for medical decision-making.
Educational Background and Experience:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing.
- Preferred experience in interventional radiology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with lumbar punctures and spinal procedures.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Valid Florida PA or APRN license.
- Certification from NCCPA, ANCC, or another nationally recognized certification body.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
