AdventHealth Central Florida is seeking a skilled Diabetes and Endocrinology Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Apopka. As a key member of our medical group, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management of diabetes and endocrine disorders.
Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Patient Care: Conduct thorough physical examinations, evaluate patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Order and Interpret Diagnostic Tests: Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to inform patient care decisions.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and support.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in diabetes and endocrinology.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- 1-3 Years of Experience in Diabetes and Endocrinology (Preferred)
- Current, Valid Florida APRN or PA License
- Current, Valid DEA License
- ANCC, NCCPA (or Equivalent) Certification
- BLS and ACLS Required
