Radiology Advanced Practice Provider in Central Florida

Our advanced practice providers play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to our patients across various settings.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a full-time inpatient role at AdventHealth Riverview.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and evaluations of radiology patients in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
- Order necessary diagnostic tests to aid in patient care.
- Monitor treatment progress and make referrals to physicians or specialists as required.
- Collaborate effectively with supervising physicians and healthcare staff to ensure consistent patient care.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while fostering personal and professional development.
- Establish and nurture effective working relationships with colleagues, patients, and the community.
- Provide care for a diverse patient population, including both pediatric and adult cases.
- Rotate between LP Clinic and IR Clinic, with responsibilities including:
- LP Clinic: Inpatient care at Orlando.
- IR Clinic: Pre and post-operative care, with possible rounding duties.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday.
- Location: AdventHealth Riverview.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to foster effective relationships with physicians, staff, and patients.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nursing.
- Preferred background in interventional radiology.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with lumbar punctures and spine procedures.
Licensure and Certification:
- Valid Florida PA or APRN license.
- Certification from NCCPA, ANCC, or another recognized certification body.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
