AdventHealth Central Florida is seeking a highly skilled Urogynecology Physician Assistant to join our team at AdventHealth Kissimmee. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our physicians to deliver high-quality medical services.
Responsibilities- Perform physical examinations and evaluations of patients with urologic and urogynecologic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including medication management and procedural interventions
- Assist in surgical procedures, including vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic female pelvic reconstructive surgeries
- Monitor patient progress and make referrals to specialists as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure seamless patient care and support
- Masters degree in Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant Studies
- 1-3 years of experience as a PA-C or ARNP, preferably in Urogynecology or Urology
- Current, valid Florida PA or APRN license
- Certification by NCCPA, ANCC, or other nationally recognized certification organization
- BLS and ACLS certification
