About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Account/Sales Director to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our business development initiatives and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Sales Plans: Create and execute sales strategies to meet corporate goals and objectives.
  • Direct Sales Forecasting Activities: Lead sales forecasting efforts and set performance goals to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Review Market Analyses: Conduct market research to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Manage Key Client Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the aviation sector.
  • Promote Positive Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with partners, vendors, and distributors.
  • Deliver Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Negotiate and Close Deals: Meet with key clients to negotiate and close deals.
  • Analyze and Control Expenditures: Analyze and control expenditures of the division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare Sales Reports: Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Monitor Competition: Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Represent the Company: Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote the product.
  • Coordinate Liaison: Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
  • Assist Other Departments: Assist other departments within the organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, sales, and business development.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in a business.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the aviation industry and its current events.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Rapport Building: Ability to build rapport with key clients and maintain strong relationships.
  • Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Sales Process: Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Mentoring Skills: Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Business Sense: Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required.
