About the Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished Business Development Director to lead our Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) team in Johnson Controls Building Solutions North America. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for creating customer demand for service partnership-based solutions that drive long-term business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth and relationship management.
  • Lead a pursuit team to secure IaaS-based partnerships through existing account bases and multiple sales channels.
  • Train and mentor sales partners to advance IaaS strategies within our existing customer base.
  • Develop vertical market strategic planning for IaaS and support regional and vertical market Johnson Controls strategic planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, law, or related discipline required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years of sales experience in related industry or financial sales at the C-level, including three to five years of direct sales or sales management experience.
  • Excellent initiative, interpersonal communications skills, and ability to influence the market at key levels.
  • Ability to travel 30-40%.
