The Role:


As a Production Support Specialist at USG, you will play a vital role in our growth by assisting with new business initiatives, nurturing client relationships, and streamlining administrative processes.

Your keen attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment will be crucial to our operations. In this role, you will engage in various tasks related to sales, client management, and administrative duties.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Request and assess application specifications from retail agents, compiling completed applications along with exposures, loss history, target pricing, and submitting to brokerage carriers for quotations.
  • Review all solicited quotations and negotiate final pricing, terms, and conditions with selected carriers.
  • Prepare and present final quotations for recommended carriers to retail agents.
  • Manage the binding and invoicing processes for accounts.
  • Track renewal progress and final outcomes.
  • Compile and document all necessary information required for binding and invoicing accounts.
  • Review and process all midterm endorsements, cancellations, and audit requests.
  • Deliver timely and accurate customer service to retail agents.
  • Provide marketing and quoting assistance for new business as needed.
  • Review and approve final policy issuance for MGA renewal accounts.
  • Request, review, and approve all loss control reports for renewal business according to company guidelines.
  • Communicate and confirm compliance with retail agents regarding actions based on loss control report findings.
  • Perform duties to minimize errors and omissions.
  • Maintain a professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude while executing job responsibilities.
  • Participate in company-approved seminars and educational activities to stay informed on industry developments, trends, and regulations.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance sector, preferably in wholesale brokerage/MGA, retail insurance agency, or insurance company.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software applications and basic typing skills.
  • Understanding of basic P&C insurance, forms, endorsements, rating methods, and terminology.
  • Ability to perform calculations related to premiums, commissions, policy fees, and taxes.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • A C.I.S.R. or P&C license is preferred but not mandatory.
