Job Overview

Indigo Real Estate is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with HUD and IRS program guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the property in accordance with HUD and IRS program guidelines
  • Meet financial objectives of ownership and management
  • Protect the value and integrity of the real estate
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government agency standards and requirements
  • Manage personnel, leasing, collections, resident services, maintenance, budgeting, and capital improvements
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years HUD Multifamily Section 8 experience
  • At least 3 years of property management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years Low-Income Housing Tax Credit experience
  • Minimum of 2 years managing 55 or more units
  • Knowledge of Yardi or similar housing software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise quick and accurate judgment and maintain confidentiality
  • Effective conflict resolution and customer service skills
  • Ability to set priorities and multi-task with a strong attention to detail
