Key Responsibilities
As a technical authority within the team, you will guide Software Engineers in the design, development, configuration, testing, and continuous enhancement necessary to deliver cutting-edge experiences.

This role includes supervising the implementation and upkeep of business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of applications.

Moreover, this individual will provide insights and recommendations to shape the roadmap and overall health of the broader portfolio.

In this leadership capacity, your focus will be on removing barriers for your team while empowering others to tackle complex technical and business challenges.

To Succeed
The ideal candidate must possess a robust blend of business and technical expertise, be capable of delivering solutions that cater to the distinct needs of both business and technology stakeholders, and excel in communication, leadership, and customer orientation.

We seek an experienced technical manager with a proven history of building and nurturing high-performing teams, who collaborates effectively with architecture, User Experience, and product teams.

This is a hands-on technical position, and the successful candidate will lead by example.

Essential Duties
Manage software engineers who design, develop, and maintain solutions within a suite of technology products and/or services; oversee the translation of business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions.

Influence and establish best-in-class engineering practices through sound design decisions; conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices; and actively participate in resolving defects at the code and platform levels.

Utilize DevOps tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Github, and Grafana to monitor and identify opportunities for improvement in delivered products.

Act as a hands-on leader responsible for developing highly scalable and readily available solutions focused on customer needs, while proactively tracking key results related to code reliability, reusability, security, and automation.

Hold teams accountable for delivering solutions and strive to continuously enhance throughput and overall team velocity.

Collaborate with Scrum teams to ensure plans align with team capacity and identify methods to increase team velocity and minimize sprint spillover.

Ensure alignment, buy-in, and support from diverse stakeholders by fostering and maintaining trusting relationships with internal customers, third-party vendors, and senior management.

Resolve escalated issues throughout the development, configuration, and modification of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions.

Design solutions leveraging microservice architecture and rely on event and data-driven API integration.

Work with product team members to help inform priorities within a set of products, applications, and/or services.

Provide input for departmental budget and forecasting, managing expenses associated with initiatives within your scope of responsibility. Coordinate the estimation and execution of plans, schedules, and resource forecasts for the services or applications in scope.

Leadership Responsibilities
Oversee the development, implementation, maintenance, support, and scalability of robust, reliable, and secure business and enterprise software solutions.

Manage multiple services or applications and provide resources in support of the applications by leveraging partnerships with technology teams, vendors, and business leaders.

Guide the team through all technology solution development phases by ensuring adherence to company methodology, policies, standards, and controls.

Educate and align the team on departmental SOPs, OKRs, and the overall operationalization of assigned services or applications.

Provide leadership by attracting and hiring talented individuals, setting goals, communicating clear expectations, providing timely and constructive feedback, and offering meaningful developmental opportunities.

Ensure teams adhere to company methodology, policies, standards, and controls; provide training opportunities in SDLC methodologies, models, and processes utilized within the product space.
