Responsibilities of the Front Office Coordinator:

  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
  • Collect outstanding balances and copayments during patient check-in
  • Manage incoming calls and relay messages efficiently
  • Confirm patient appointments and follow-up visits
  • Schedule initial consultations and subsequent appointments
  • Input and update patient records, including insurance details

Qualifications for the Front Office Coordinator:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical front office setting (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience (required)
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive demeanor and a collaborative spirit
  • Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
