Responsibilities of the Front Desk Representative:
- Verify patient insurance eligibility
- Collect outstanding balances and copayments during patient check-in
- Manage incoming calls and relay messages appropriately
- Confirm patient appointments
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments
- Input and update patient records, including insurance details
Qualifications for the Front Desk Representative:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical front office setting (preferred)
- At least 1 year of customer service experience (required)
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Positive demeanor that fosters teamwork
- Able to multitask effectively
