About the Position
As our first Administrative Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of the Wattch office while fostering a positive environment for the team. You will be key in maintaining and enhancing Wattch's unique culture. Additionally, you may assist with scheduling and administrative tasks to optimize resources within our dynamic team.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong organizational skills, be personable, and be eager to engage in a variety of projects. A passion for clean energy is a plus.

This flexible, part-time position requires approximately 10 hours per week. We will collaborate to determine a schedule that aligns with both your preferences and the company's requirements. Compensation will be competitive on an hourly basis, along with mileage reimbursement.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Managing inventory of groceries and office supplies
  • Establishing and maintaining organizational systems
  • Planning and participating in company and board social events
  • Coordinating gifts for team anniversaries and birthdays
  • Arranging travel for site visits and trade shows
  • Handling package and mail deliveries
  • Running errands as needed

Occasionally, you may also:

  • Assist in managing executive schedules
  • Keep hardware inventory records
  • Procure equipment for new team members
  • Oversee minor office enhancements, such as hanging artwork and assembling furniture
  • Support other administrative tasks as required

Importantly, your role will not include:

  • Cleaning the office (a separate cleaning service is employed)
  • Grocery shopping (a delivery service is utilized)

You are an ideal candidate if you:

  • Have experience as an office manager or in administrative, support, or customer service roles
  • Are familiar with common business software tools such as Google Apps, Slack, Notion, Zoom, etc.
  • Possess reliable transportation for errands
  • Are detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exhibit strong communication skills
  • Are resourceful, handy, and creative
  • Bring a positive attitude to challenges
