Key Responsibilities- Engage with insurance providers to facilitate Prior Authorizations.
- Verify Durable Medical Equipment benefits with insurance companies within a timely manner.
- Utilize the most effective methods to acquire Durable Medical Equipment benefits, whether through phone or online portals.
- Inform patients about their coverage and financial responsibilities.
- Document all communications regarding Durable Medical Equipment in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Maintain and organize internal documentation.
- Electronically relay patient information to insurance entities.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently.
- Provide clear communication to clinic teams.
- Understand and apply the Diabetic Guidelines established by Medicare.
- Perform data entry for all Diabetic Shoes and Custom Orthotics in internal systems.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel or project management software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of delivering outstanding client service.
- Familiarity with standard office equipment, including fax machines, telephones, scanners, and copiers.
