The Local 26 IBEW-NECA Joint Trust Funds is actively seeking an Office Administration Specialist to assist in the management of four multi-employer benefit funds.

These funds serve over 11,000 members of Local 26 IBEW and their families, encompassing a private health and welfare fund, a defined benefit pension fund, a defined contributions pension fund, and an industry promotion fund.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They should possess excellent communication skills to effectively convey benefit plan details to members and employers, and be a supportive team player dedicated to enhancing the Fund Office's service quality.


Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


- Managing member and dependent enrollment and disenrollment processes;
- Coordinating with facility management;
- Performing administrative duties to assist various departments within the Fund Office;
- Maintaining office supplies;
- Preparing for and organizing meetings;
- Greeting visitors at the front desk, both in person and via phone;
- Directing and escorting visitors to the appropriate areas.


The Fund Office provides a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes a company-sponsored healthcare plan, pension plan, and profit-sharing plan.

$42,000 - $48,000 per year

Schedule:
8-hour shift

7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications:

Work Experience:
A minimum of two years of relevant office experience is preferred.

Educational Background:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Special Skills or Credentials:
Professional phone etiquette;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is essential.


Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to engage with Trustees, union representatives, employers, external professionals, and service providers.


Must be a collaborative team member.
