Position Summary:


Alliance Cancer Specialists, a prominent community-focused oncology practice in Southeastern PA, is expanding our Operations team. We are in search of a full-time Human Resources Operations Leader.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated, empathetic professional eager to contribute to our dynamic team at Alliance. This role will primarily be based at our Langhorne location.

Responsible for ensuring the consistent and effective implementation of Human Resources strategies and deliverables in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. Oversees the Human Resources policies, procedures, administration, projects, and personnel.

Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards and Shared Values.


Core Responsibilities:


Provides strategic and operational HR guidance to management and develops innovative programs and initiatives to address business needs.

Conducts research, reviews, analyzes, and evaluates the impact of alternatives, recommending business solutions to upper management—collaborates with management to facilitate the delivery of HR services.

Offers direction to enhance organizational and employee effectiveness through successful talent management. May be involved in recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates for management/director roles.

Acts as a point of escalation for employee relations issues. Conducts impartial investigations, evaluates, and recommends resolutions in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Manages projects, programs, administration, and communication related to recruitment, employment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, HRIS, etc. Enhances productivity through assessment, planning, prioritization, and automation.

Maintains ongoing communication regarding employee relations, practice initiatives, and business priorities with the Regional Director of HR.

Responsible for directing and developing departmental personnel, capital, and operating budgets while managing expenses within approved limits.


Oversees and drives ongoing initiatives that directly influence employee engagement in relation to the employee engagement survey process.


Represents the HR function on the management team and is accountable for developing an HR agenda aligned with the stated operational objectives.


Builds, motivates, and unites high-performance teams through effective hiring or in-house talent development, providing them with a clear sense of direction along with their individual responsibilities and personal objectives in achieving that vision.

Ability to implement an appropriate organizational structure that aligns with the organization's business objectives.

Mentors and develops staff.

Responsible for interviewing, recommending hires, assessing performance, suggesting salary adjustments, and managing progressive discipline.

  • Ensures compliance with USON policies.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Human Resources required. At least two (2) years of project management or supervisory experience required. PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic setting.

Work will involve in-person interaction with colleagues and management and/or clients. Work may require travel by automobile to office sites or extended travel by airplane for business functions.
