Position Overview:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring that production processes are efficient and effective. This role requires strong leadership and managerial skills, with a focus on achieving targets while maintaining employee engagement.

Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Proven leadership and management capabilities, with experience in guiding teams to meet objectives.
  • Solid understanding of production scheduling, capacity management, constraints, and resource utilization.
  • Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Permanent Corrective Action (PCA).
  • Accountable for process ownership and performance measurement (KPI).
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives with a strong grasp of change management principles.
  • Proficiency in production management software and relevant IT tools.
  • Capability to manage budgets, analyze production data, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the production floor to ensure effective production processes.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Coordinate with production scheduling to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

These qualifications ensure that the Operations Manager can effectively lead the production team, uphold high standards of quality and safety, and contribute to the overall success of Enviri Corporation's operations.

Salary Range: $110,000-140,000
Qualifications:

A preferred bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing/industrial engineering, or a related field.

5-10 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally within the rail industry or a similar heavy equipment sector.
