Position Overview:

The Strategic Technology Operations Leader serves as a pivotal partner to the Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTPO), playing a crucial role in advancing technological innovation and executing the digital strategy of the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Project Leadership: Spearhead key initiatives directly associated with the CTPO, ensuring alignment and progress across various teams.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Prepare detailed analyses for meetings, capturing essential takeaways and driving actionable conclusions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with diverse teams to monitor the advancement of strategic initiatives and address any misalignments promptly.
  • Representation: Act as the CTPO's representative in both internal and external forums, accurately conveying the CTPO's perspectives and decisions.
  • Core Values Advocacy: Promote and embody the core values of Extreme Networks, including transparency, teamwork, and inclusion, while fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Communication Management: Oversee the creation and review of communications from the CTPO, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Operational Leadership: Lead business meetings and align agendas with the Products leadership team to enhance productivity and expedite decision-making.
  • KPI Development: Collaborate with internal teams to establish and monitor key performance indicators that drive accountability and performance within the Product organization.
  • Budget Planning: Manage the annual budget planning process, ensuring alignment with cross-functional needs and optimizing resource allocation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Over 10 years of experience in technology roles, particularly in operations or leadership capacities.
  • A proven track record of collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in change management.
  • Strong analytical abilities to navigate complex business challenges.
  • Experience in leading multifaceted transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • A bachelor's degree; an MBA is advantageous.
