Job Overview

Path Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities of subcontractors and suppliers, contract administration, procurement, estimating, pay requests, change orders, requests for information, cost control, scheduling, tracking submittals, and maintaining a high level of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, financial statements, and quality control metrics.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Participate in project meetings, including kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and close-out meetings.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality construction.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in a general contracting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction principles, practices, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
