Position Overview:
This role involves collaborating closely with Project Managers to manage essential documentation for our diverse construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting project execution from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers to identify, process, and log necessary submissions for construction projects.
- Develop and manage subcontract documents under the guidance of Project Managers.
- Assist with various documentation requirements related to construction initiatives.
- Help compile lists of subcontractors for bidding opportunities and provide support during the bidding process.
- Prepare meeting agendas and document minutes.
- Track project progress, including schedules, ongoing work, RFIs, punch lists, etc.
- Communicate effectively with clients, building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff.
- Coordinate and schedule the delivery of equipment and materials.
- Monitor and document job site safety policies.
- Support project closeout activities.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including weekends, as required.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction Management.
- 1-3 years of experience in the construction sector.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, BlueBeam, and MS Project.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn various aspects of the construction industry.
