Position Overview

Culinary Specialist III - Role Summary

The Culinary Specialist III is responsible for the preparation and presentation of menu offerings in accordance with Quest standards. This role involves adhering to a detailed preparation list to ensure the successful execution of menu items while supporting the daily operations of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in bulk food preparation, catering setup, product receiving, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
  • Provide assistance to customers and uphold a professional demeanor while managing the service line.
  • Participate in cold food preparation, salad assembly, and grab-and-go item production, ensuring adherence to established recipes.
  • Serve hot meals and follow precise recipes to deliver all hot food items in the kitchen.
  • Comply with all HACCP and food safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate at least three different concept stations effectively.
  • Support the chef or manager in vendor order placements, developing cleaning and production checklists, and creating new menu items along with their corresponding recipes for approval.
  • Assist in the training and development of Cook I and Cook II team members.
