Position Overview
The role of the Student Financial Services Advisor involves providing guidance and support to students and their families regarding various financial assistance programs. This position plays a crucial part in the administration of federal, state, and institutional financial aid initiatives, ensuring that students receive the necessary support to pursue their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities
The Student Financial Services Advisor will:
1. Assist in processing federal loans for students and their parents.
2. Evaluate student eligibility based on previous financial history, including loan defaults and bankruptcies.
3. Serve as a primary contact for graduate students enrolled in year-round programs, facilitating their financial aid needs.

Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree is mandatory, while a Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience is required, preferably in financial aid or university administration. Candidates with extensive experience in a highly automated financial aid environment similar to that of Missouri State University will be given preference.
