Our team exemplifies the DevOps culture, with responsibilities that span from creating new tools and user interfaces to managing and supporting one of the largest logging infrastructures in collaboration with other Observability solutions.
We are a close-knit group committed to delivering a robust platform and ample support for both our clients and one another. We are seeking a new Senior Developer to help us implement and advance our comprehensive Observability Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:- 8-10+ years of hands-on experience with distributed applications at scale in cloud environments.
- Expertise in designing and deploying large-scale Observability platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and distributed team setting.
- Proficiency with internally hosted logging systems such as Splunk, Loki, Elastic, and Clickhouse, focusing on enhancing client performance and stability.
- Programming skills in languages such as Go and Python; experience in building integrations and applications for large-scale Observability frameworks.
- Experience in designing and implementing systems that ensure fault tolerance, scalability, and stability.
- Background in developing, deploying, and managing distributed applications on cloud platforms, with familiarity in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to create solution architectures for large-scale Observability systems.
- Commitment to ensuring optimal uptime and Quality of Service (QoS) for Adobe's clientele through operational excellence.
- Knowledge in defining service level objectives (SLOs) and service level indicators (SLIs) to measure service quality.
- Understanding of both public and private cloud environments.
- Collaboration with SRE and Engineering/Product teams to drive critical initiatives.
- Partnership with Engineering teams to advance the One-Adobe Observability Strategy.
- Experience in designing and maintaining production monitoring systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting performance and stability challenges using a variety of tools.
- Mentorship of team members on large-scale Observability platforms.
- Strong communication skills to drive projects to completion across teams.
- Influence the organization through contributions to technical direction and strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with additional Observability tools such as Grafana, Cortex, Tempo, and Jaeger.
- Experience with open-source projects and communities, particularly OpenTelemetry.
- Knowledge of cloud security and automation concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Advocacy for the DevOps/SRE methodology.
