We are on the lookout for a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to enhance our skilled team. This position will report directly to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and provides ample opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute circuit board layouts and arrange electronic component placements.
  • Design mechanical parts and enclosures for platforms.
  • Generate 2D drawings for circuit board layouts and mechanical elements.
  • Prepare comprehensive design documentation and oversee product launches.
  • Engage with manufacturers to incorporate feedback effectively.
  • Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Participate in hands-on tasks including prototype assembly and mechanical construction.
  • Assist in thermal and mechanical testing procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Bill of Materials (BOM), and Deviation processes.
  • Proficient in mechanical CAD software, with experience in Creo Elements/Direct being advantageous.
  • Understanding of simulation tools such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Mechanica.
  • Experience with liquid cooling systems and thermal evaluation.
  • Capability to design circuit board layouts and mechanical components effectively.
  • Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and familiarity with machining tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
