About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Engineer to join our team at Edge Delta, Inc. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving sales and customer success by leveraging your expertise in observability and security to drive technical sales cycles and close deals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Sales Presentations: Lead technical sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our solutions to customers.
  2. Customer Engagement: Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer requirements and develop tailored telemetry pipeline solutions.
  3. Proof-of-Concept Engagements: Lead proof-of-concept engagements to demonstrate the effectiveness of telemetry pipeline solutions in customer environments.
  4. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers throughout the sales cycle.
  5. Content Development: Develop and deliver technical content, including documentation, whitepapers, and case studies.
  6. Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in observability and security.
  7. Product Feedback: Provide feedback to the product team to help shape future product development based on customer needs and industry trends.
Requirements
  1. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of observability principles and technologies, experience with security technologies, and proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing enterprise application performance issues.
  2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  3. Experience: 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical consulting role, with a focus on enterprise applications.
  4. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Observability Pipelines: Experience with implementing observability pipelines, understanding of DevOps and SRE practices and principles, and knowledge of different programming languages.
  2. OpenTelemetry: Understanding of OpenTelemetry (OTEL) concepts.
