Position Overview:

The Senior Hybrid Engineer plays a crucial role in the design, coding, and support of web applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, taking full responsibility for the design, interface, and programming of both simple and complex websites.

Additionally, the Senior Hybrid Engineer is expected to provide accurate task estimates and take ownership of these commitments.


Key Responsibilities:


- Collaborate closely with Creative, Business, Technology, and QA teams to ensure that technology solutions are functional and meet performance standards.

- Take charge of developing sub-systems, ensuring adherence to the overall technical architecture and design set by the technical lead.

- Implement user and business requirements that involve multiple development activities or impact various sub-systems.

- Maintain clear and concise documentation on projects as per each capability's guidelines and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in existing software applications.

- Provide constructive feedback on policies and procedures when opportunities for improvement arise.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 4 to 6 years of experience in web development.

- Proficient in designing and developing rich web applications.

- Experience with automation and pre-processing tools (e.g., Grunt, Maven, Ant, Powershell, SASS, LESS).

- Familiarity with data storage patterns and practices, including relational (SQL) and/or non-relational (NoSQL, MongoDB) platforms.

- Experience integrating web solutions with external web services.

- English proficiency at B1 level or higher.

- Knowledge of design patterns (e.g., model-view-controller, observer) and software engineering principles.

- Proficient in data transfer formats and protocols commonly used in web applications (e.g., JSON, XML, HTTP).

- Ability to write code that complies with modern accessibility standards (e.g., ARIA, WCAG, Microformats, ADA, RDF) and SEO best practices.

- Capable of working with emerging technologies and developing proof of concept prototypes.

- Skilled in building web solutions based on Content Management Systems or e-commerce platforms.

- Proficient in troubleshooting, debugging, and conducting root cause analysis of web platform issues.

- Capable of creating and consuming SOAP or REST web services.

- Experienced in writing unit tests and scripting load and performance tests.
