Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive large-scale domain success through advanced technical expertise, strategic foresight, and intentional leadership of engineering teams.
  • Investigate and evaluate both internal and industry-wide technologies to propose innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Act as a force multiplier within your domain, achieving outstanding results by providing architectural guidance and high-level designs, mentoring other technical leaders, delegating critical tasks, and continuously enhancing the effectiveness of software engineers.
  • Regularly assess, identify, and monitor trends, while actively seeking opportunities to deliver more effective and impactful solutions.
  • Own the technical vision for your domain(s) and the roadmap to realize that vision. Collaborate with business, product, and personnel leaders to advocate for your vision and provide your technical insights on various situations.
  • Offer technical counsel to senior leadership and provide mentorship and guidance to engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Over 8 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, leading the technical direction of mission-critical systems while considering scalability, latency, data integrity, security, observability, and maintainability.
  • Proven success in translating requirements into practical and scalable architecture, delivering solutions that are vital to business operations.
  • A track record of domain ownership, influencing technical vision and strategy.
  • A passion for mentoring and developing talent within the team.
  • Expertise in distributed systems design and full-stack development, with the ability to engage and influence technically proficient engineers and stakeholders across the organization.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy, with the ability to build trust and foster psychological safety while addressing challenging issues and resolving conflicts.
  • Experienced in incident management, providing direction and clarity to ensure prompt mitigation during incidents and thorough follow-ups with root cause analysis and corrective measures. Like us, you believe in ensuring that our customers have a positive experience on our platform.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
