Job Overview

Position: Evening Powder Coating Specialist

Classification: Non-exempt

Work Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Overtime may be required. Includes a $3 shift differential and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities: The Evening Powder Coating Specialist will be tasked with applying powder coating to various components of differing sizes and specifications within a designated booth. Key duties include:

  • Ensuring parts are properly cleaned and prepared.
  • Maintaining the highest quality standards in all work performed.
  • Overseeing productivity within the powder coating area.
  • Carrying out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience in powder coating.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a supervisory role.
  • Skills in planning and organization.

Essential Skills:

  • Able to lead and manage a small team effectively.
  • Strong emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities.

Physical Requirements: Must be capable of lifting weights as necessary, with assistance when needed.
