IT Operations Specialist

**Job Summary**
JobGet Staffing is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to join our team in modernizing our technology infrastructure. This role reports directly to the Mayor and interfaces with all departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for project management, planning, implementing, supporting, updating, monitoring, changing, and protecting the City's information systems, databases, and network applications. This includes daily support, installation, testing, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of desktops, printers, peripherals, client applications, audio video devices, and telecommunication systems for facilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and maintain the City's information systems, databases, and network applications
- Provide daily support for desktops, printers, and peripherals
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the City's information systems
- Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree or technical degree with a minimum of three (3) years of experience working in IT operations, installing and maintaining PC's, network servers, and LAN Intranets/Extranets, including Internet connectivity, maintenance, and VPNs. An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
