Cat Care Specialist

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cat Sitter to join our team at Pawsitive Dawg Walking and Pet Sitting, LLC. As a Cat Sitter, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our feline friends in their homes. Your role will involve providing tender care, ensuring their happiness and well-being, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Weather Warrior: Be prepared to conquer all New England weather conditions, from rain and wind to sleet and snow.
- Prompt Communication: Respond promptly and efficiently to all inquiries from our team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, as you'll be in direct contact with clients and our Pet Care Manager.
- Dependable and Positive: We're looking for individuals who are extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated, and, most importantly, have a positive attitude. Following a schedule provided by the Pet Care Manager is essential.
- Animal Advocate: Give every pet your undivided attention and shower them with love during your assigned visit. You'll also provide individual cat sitting services in client's homes.
- Safety First: Maintain control and ensure the safety of all animals under your watch. Security is paramount when visiting our clients' homes, and you'll be responsible for maintaining it.
- Clean and Green: Pick up and properly dispose of all pet waste during your visits, keeping the environment clean and safe.
- Daily Updates: After each visit, you'll provide a daily note in our scheduling app, complete with a photo to confirm services and update both the owner and Pawsitive Dawg about your visit.
- Competitive compensation (depends on professional experience) paid weekly.
- We pay you by the service (commission) + mileage reimbursement + cell phone stipend + 100% tips.
- Depending on your availability and experience, this is a great way to earn supplemental income.
- You can make extra money if you are willing to provide dog walking or dog sitting services and pick up extra hours, provide overnights, or work on weekends.
- Established dog walking/pet sitting business since 2012.

- Must have a car with valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
- We assign dog walks within 5 miles of our staff's home so employees must live within 15 minutes of our service area (Waltham, Belmont, Watertown, Newton, Lexington, Lincoln, or Weston).
- 4 relevant references (3 professional and 1 personal).
- Dog walking staff must commit to always being available for last minute walks (unless sick or previously requested off) during their agreed upon hours.
- Occasional evening hours or weekends for client interviews may be necessary.
- Clean criminal background and clean driving records (criminal/background check required).
