Painter Technician

Job Summary:

The Painter Technician will be responsible for applying coatings to various surfaces in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply coatings to surfaces using spray guns and other equipment.
• Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning and repairing as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials and supplies.
• Work in a team environment to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Comply with safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to accurately read and understand tape measurements.
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment, including simple hand tools and hand-powdered hydraulic material handling devices.

Physical Requirements:

• Medium to heavy physical demands, including lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
