SAFe Agile Coach Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAFe Agile Coach to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a SAFe Agile Coach, you will play a critical role in driving transformation across the organization by leveraging frameworks such as Scaled Agile (SAFe), Scrum, and Kanban.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the adoption of Agile mentality through Lean Portfolio Management, Agile delivery knowledge, and Agile life cycle management tools.
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve Agile transformation.
  • Lead an ART launch from end-to-end, deliver SAFe training and workshops, and help bring standard methodologies into the organization.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to establish lean agile routines and practices that transform the organization to run agile at scale.
  • Lead discussions with team leads and management while keeping the collective team focused and tracking on commitments, pace, and quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience with coaching, mentoring, and advising technology leaders through a sophisticated Agile transformation.
  • Experience with designing and executing enterprise organizational transformation frameworks.
  • Experience with supporting the Navy, DoD, or DHS.
  • Knowledge of the Application Life Cycle and Agile Management tools.
  • Ability to lead discussions with executives, team leads, and leaders within the organization on Agile topics.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to obtain a SAFe 5.1 Program Consultant (SPC) Certification within 30 days of start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with supporting DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) or Business Category (BCAT) programs.
  • Experience in working with senior executive leaders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.

Compensation:

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137, annualized USD.
