About the Role
Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Agile Coach to support the delivery of a pragmatic set of services in support of BISD's Agile IT Modernization capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Agile processes to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
- Coach project teams to execute Agile practices, focusing on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment and Delivery.
- Ease the organizational cultural transition from traditional hierarchical structures to Agile methodologies.
- Help teams overcome internal barriers to excellence by defining the Definition of Done, estimating stories, and navigating through difficult Agile issues.
- Analyze current project delivery and governance processes to identify pain points, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Use Agile development frameworks to gather requirements, estimate tasks, and demonstrate new functionality to stakeholders.
- Work with leadership, project managers, business analysts, IT specialists, and product owners to facilitate events that drive change and improvement.
- Expert facilitation to elicit and document future-state processes and high-level requirements.
- Develop training material for junior Agile teammates and plan, organize, and conduct training sessions.
- Support business development activities, including customer technical capabilities briefings and past performance content.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with Agile tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience teaching technical teams Agile framework concepts.
- Experience defining stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog.
- Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster Certification required.
- US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, as well as various frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
- Experience coaching teams and individuals on Agile practices, facilitating workshops, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams to adopt Agile practices and mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience in organizational transformation and change management.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Good work ethic and active desire to learn.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to set and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Ability to meet minimum security requirements.
