Job Summary:

The Resident Services Coordinator is a vital role at Housing Opportunities Unlimited, where you will play a key part in supporting low-income families and individuals in achieving their personal and employment-related goals. As a skilled professional, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide comprehensive services, connect residents with community resources, and advocate on their behalf.

Key Responsibilities:

* Meet with residents to establish working relationships and develop Individualized Services Plans
* Connect residents to job readiness or technical trainings, educational opportunities, and community resources
* Complete housing assessments and assist with recertification
* Serve as a liaison between residents, schools, and other service providers
* Collaborate with local agencies and organizations to provide a network of support
* Facilitate group activities and workshops on life skills, career development, and mental health
* Follow-up with clients and agencies to document use and success of referrals

Requirements:

* BSW/MSW or related academic qualifications preferred
* 3+ years of experience working collaboratively with low-income families in human services or a related field
* Problem-solving and organizational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of community resources and social services
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a flexible environment
