Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Chief Operating Officer to drive the overall strategy and growth of our Beauty/Personal Care brand. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 12 years of leadership experience across all aspects of operational functions in a high-volume organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inclusive policies and procedures by collaborating with other executives and CEO.
  • Provide strategic, organizational, and administrative leadership to oversee day-to-day operations of the business.
  • Ensure the Human Resources team fosters a highly inclusive culture with effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention.
  • Identify key capital projects and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs, and explore other strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to ensure the company is meeting its long-term success.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other stakeholders, special committees, and consultants to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
  • Communicate the company's vision and goals to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; advanced degrees such as an MBA or a master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of strategic leadership experience in a similar environment, management consulting, or general management.
  • Experience in fashion, beauty, and/or cosmetics preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate employees at all levels of the organization and drive results.
  • Ability to develop short- and long-term plans to achieve the company's goals strategically.
  • Understanding of financial principles and metrics to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes to improve operations.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information clearly and concisely to employees, executives, and other stakeholders.
  • Able to adapt to fast-paced and ever-changing business environments and market conditions.
  • Possesses high ethical standards and is committed to upholding the values and integrity of the company.
