Position Summary: NTVI is seeking a qualified Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Coordinator. This role will act as a key liaison for matters related to technology transfer, safeguarding intellectual property, overseeing medical research initiatives, and managing research agreements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Oversee the management, planning, coordination, and execution of the assigned Technology Transfer portfolio, collaborating with medical research scientists and technology transfer professionals within various sectors.

2) Evaluate intricate research protocols, identify the necessity for research agreements, consult with institute researchers, and determine the appropriate agreements needed. Initiate the agreement process with external entities and present requests to the Agreement Review Committee.

3) Provide insights on medical laboratory products and services to governmental bodies and private organizations, offering technical assistance and consulting with professionals in research centers on advanced medical technologies.

4) Mediate between Principal Investigators and funding sources, while developing comprehensive research agreements and management plans.

5) Address complex technical and administrative challenges independently, ensuring the institute's interests are safeguarded while adhering to regulations governing medical technology transfer agreements.

6) Contribute to departmental outreach by creating training materials and conducting sessions on technology transfer agreements and research management.

Qualifications:

1) A Master's degree in business or a related field.

2) A minimum of five years of professional experience in Intellectual Property management and licensing negotiations.

3) Expertise in technology commercialization readiness assessments.

4) Experience in establishing cooperative research and development agreements.

5) Proficiency in researching and disseminating best practices in technology transfer and commercialization.

6) Must be a U.S. Citizen.
