The Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management plays a pivotal role in steering and supervising all facets of the revenue cycle operations. This includes managing billing, coding, claims processing, accounts receivable oversight, collections, and initiatives aimed at revenue enhancement, all while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement both short-term and long-term objectives for the revenue cycle.

• Lead the formulation of policies, procedures, and controls for the Revenue Cycle Team, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and organizational standards.

• Assess and propose necessary organizational adjustments in response to new legislation and regulatory changes.

• Integrate new facilities with company protocols, including the implementation and training of accounts receivable billing systems.

• Collaborate with the General Ledger accounting team to guarantee timely and accurate month-end closings and revenue capture.

• Provide leadership to ensure the development and completion of training for new hires.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting, aging, and company objectives to identify areas for process enhancement and establish team priorities.

• Work alongside other departments to develop reporting metrics and KPIs.

• Supervise claims submission and processing to reduce denials and maximize reimbursement.

• Manage departmental budgets and control costs effectively.

• Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance workplace culture.

• Ensure accurate and compliant billing and coding practices to mitigate revenue loss and regulatory challenges.

• Prepare and deliver regular financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

• Evaluate and select revenue cycle software, tools, and vendors, and oversee the implementation of new revenue cycle applications.

• Stay updated on changes in healthcare reimbursement policies and adjust processes as necessary.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:


• CPA or MBA preferred.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare, with a preference for experience in pharmacy revenue cycle.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, stretch, stoop, walk, and move intermittently during working hours. Must be capable of lifting at least 50 lbs. Effective verbal and written communication with colleagues, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates is essential.
