About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Account Executive to join our team at Waystar. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion through consultative selling and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting and relationship-building with current and potential clients.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sales and marketing plans, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Maintain industry knowledge and stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Communicate product and service information to clients, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage multiple sales tasks and priorities, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain a strong understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, and apply this knowledge to drive sales growth.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and other materials to support sales efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of proven sales experience in a quota-bearing role.
  • Strong customer relationship skills, and a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and to ask for help when needed.
  • Enthusiasm for owning a sales quota, and a drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce CRM software is a plus.
  • Healthcare background and/or industry experience is a plus.
