Job Overview

Prairie Quest Consulting is in search of a dedicated Student Services Coordinator to provide essential support for students enrolled in specialized training programs.

Position Overview:

The Student Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and facilitating the administrative processes for students attending training courses. This position requires effective interaction with students, military personnel, and civilian staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the orientation and class assignment processes for students, which includes:
  1. Tracking and accounting for personnel reliability program candidates.
  2. Providing guidance to students on completing necessary administrative documentation.
  3. Instructing students on required gear and equipment.
  4. Processing disenrollment and set-back documentation while maintaining accurate student records.
  5. Completing required training as a Command Financial Specialist.
Perform various administrative tasks, including:
  1. Assisting students with pay and leave inquiries through military pay systems.
  2. Preparing and verifying documentation for passport applications and visa requests.
  3. Utilizing online systems to manage transfer data and travel documentation.
  4. Coordinating the Student Sponsor Program to ensure all students have assigned sponsors.
Act as a liaison with various personnel offices to resolve student-related issues.Coordinate graduation ceremonies, including:
  1. Submitting necessary documentation to mentors prior to events.
  2. Verifying and processing awards and certificates for graduating students.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in an administrative capacity, preferably within a training support environment.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation.
  • Strong analytical skills to navigate and interpret relevant regulations and policies.
