Overview:

Alpha Global Search LLC is on the lookout for a Sales Engineering Manager who will be pivotal in expanding our clientele and exploring new applications for our Performance Polymer products across North America, including Canada and Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive Marketing Initiatives

Utilize comprehensive knowledge of products, applications, and market dynamics to:

  • Gather insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
  • Engage with customers and partners to anticipate future requirements.
  • Conduct market research and collaborate with external agencies for tailored studies.
  • Identify and participate in relevant trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Analyze the business landscape to pinpoint new opportunities for growth.
  • Foster cross-marketing initiatives across various product lines.

2. Enhance Sales Performance

Focus on boosting sales volume and revenue by:

  • Tracking sales trends and operational efficiencies.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients while attracting new ones.
  • Providing critical data for sales proposals and management reports.
  • Negotiating favorable terms with customers.

3. Cultivate New Business Opportunities

Identify and develop new sales prospects by:

  • Formulating strategic plans to secure new business.
  • Establishing connections with key decision-makers in potential client organizations.
  • Conducting technical evaluations and testing to support business initiatives.

4. Account Management and Customer Support

Serve as the primary contact for clients by:

  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Providing technical and product support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring sales performance and offering feedback to management.

5. Technical Support Provision

Deliver comprehensive technical assistance by:

  • Collaborating with R&D to meet customer specifications.
  • Training clients on product usage and compliance.
  • Resolving customer inquiries and issues professionally.

6. Ensure Product Compliance

Support compliance efforts by:

  • Gathering necessary documentation for customer compliance requests.
  • Understanding pricing regulations and ensuring adherence to anti-trust laws.

7. Leadership in Product Line Development

When applicable, lead product line initiatives by:

  • Coordinating with other sales teams to align strategies.
  • Providing training and support to fellow sales managers.

8. Budget and Target Planning

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or marketing within the packaging, polymer, plastic, coating, or chemical sectors.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Polymer Science.
  • Experience in a global team environment is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
